Spot the flowers…
A very neat little Mediterranean evergreen climber bought from Spinner’s nursery some years back. I planted it in the garden of the the place I was renting soon after that on a very poor chalky soil in full sun but when I came to move here it was so tangled in with the roots of the surrounding plants I didn’t even try to lift it. Since then the garden has become even more unkempt but you can still see it’s thriving among the bindweed, honeysuckle and dewberry.

More nursery stock coming along. The Aristolochia are the most advanced of a batch I raised from cuttings last summer. The root systems are prodigious but the tops are a bit slow.
The Penstemon should be a P.procerus relative but you never can tell until they flower.
